PROPERTY START-UP SERVICE

The property start-up service provides property owners with various service options to assist new owners with many of the activities necessary when setting up their property for rental and/or personal use.

We have local knowledge of reliable and competitively priced tradesmen to enable us to provide professional and cost effective services related to all owner requirements and preferences. This service overcomes language barriers, ensures efficient execution and provides invaluable peace of mind regarding all elements relating to the initial setup of your property and any associated insurances and legal considerations.

The service options available are as follows:

• Snagging service – provides an inspection of new properties within the required timescales in order to meet developer deadlines for defect list submissions. This is especially useful for overseas owners.
• Lighting installation service – especially useful for new builds where light fittings are not usually supplied
• Builders clean – initial clean usually required for new builds to remove plaster and grout residues and other one-off cleaning requirements usually associated with new builds (See Cleaning and Laundry Services)
• Initial building works and/or decoration service. We can recommend reliable, quality cost competitive tradesmen and translate your needs as necessary.
• Furnishing and interior design service, from the essentials such as beds and bedding, to sofas, curtains, table and chairs, right down to cutlery and crockery as required and according to your specified requirements, budget and taste.
• Kitchen Design & Fitting
• Gardening and Landscaping
• Telephone/ADSL installation service
• Utility set-up service (e.g. gas, electric, water, telephone etc.)
• Satellite TV installation service
• Security System Installation and/or callout service
• Air Conditioning and /or Heating System Installation and/or callout service
• Home/Contents/Car/Boat/Private Health insurance service
• Initial community meeting representation and reporting
• Contents inventory set up
• Will writing service (to ensure your Spanish assets are protected against taxes on death)

This service includes obtaining competitive quotes, agreeing with you, the owner, all activities to be performed, managing all payments regarding the selected services and overseeing the completion and quality checks regarding all aspects of the work agreed to be undertaken.
